Pastures of Xeranthemum

from My Metamorphic Mind by Wilshire

about

Composed and written by Ben Arguelles

lyrics

I miss the warmth of the sun
and grazing through meadows of imagination.
Awake to see dusk and pastures until dawn.
What merit we obtained in love with reminiscing thoughts?

It’s death, it’s pain, sick and starved, but still remain
This derived from hope and being sane

Outside I laugh, inside still vain
I just am and there is nothing in truth

Illusion and fallacy is my dear truth
I look at the world through rose colored glasses

I don’t belong to this ever expanding infinite
I’m just lost in it so I need to spread out my energy
